Maggie is a duck. Yes - feathers, water, quacking. When Maggie came to our home at just a few weeks old, we thought, by appearances, that Maggie was a female, which was what we thought we wanted.
After several weeks, new colorful feathers appeared, and it didn’t take long
to realize Maggie is a boy.
Not expected, but we kept the name and
Maggie is a duck. Yes - feathers, water, quacking. When Maggie came to our home at just a few weeks old, we thought, by appearances, that Maggie was a female, which was what we thought we wanted.
After several weeks, new colorful feathers appeared, and it didn’t take long
to realize Maggie is a boy.
Not expected, but we kept the name and love him even more!
He now has several friends in the flock.
Throughout our lives we have tried to practice the philosophy of,
“take people as they come to you”.
It was no different with Maggie.
So, when we thought of what we wanted
our restaurant to offer, thinking about how everyone has their own story and their own path, it was a natural choice
to name it after our Maggie.
